7 months to empty nesters????

How can my place be called an empty nest when my DD's still have their stuff stored here?

Every fall I have crying parents when they are taking their child to school for the 1st time. They are very sad. The 2nd year parents can not wait for kid to go back. They have seen how nice and peaceful the house is without kids,

It always makes me sad to hear a mom say she can't wait for school to start so she can get rid of her kids.
Ours were with us 24/7 for the most part.
I'd do it all again in a nano second.


We are in a different life season now, our nest is empty and it's surely different, but we are enjoying it being just the two of us again, and it's great when our big guys drop in and stay for dinner, then go back to their own places.
