9 day teacher strike, don't think it's over.

So teacher's in WV walked out of the school buildings on February 21 and did not go back. They gathered at the capitol every day demanding to be heard and get the raise they desreved. No raise here for them in 14 years (2004 was the last raise)
Last night after all the teachers and camera's left, they revised a bill that was "dead" to lessen the education system. In other words, you do not have to be "certified" to teach or sub for another teacher. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
It's no wonder people think West Virginia is a 3rd world country!

As a child, our subs were older women with no degree. Their job, keep us in line. Make us do home work.

Now, subs are suppose to have degrees. For what? They aren’t teaching anything. They are one day baby sitters. They need a whip or gun to keep brats in line....
