Took a drive south a ways to Tekoa Washington. It was a beauty of a day for a drive!!

Are you familiar with this part of the border country? Or, is it further north that is your home stomping grounds?

Transitions are interested and as the Palouse Hills transform into evergreen forested Rockies, it's pretty country .

And, that's a good photographic representation of the beginning of that transformation!

I grew up a bit farther north, but have been out and about in the Palouse area several times. It's a great area for rural living photography.
