Hello everyone! I am new to this site and I am looking forward to the many thing I will learn from reading at this web page. I am a member on the 'Back Yard Chickens' web page and it directed me here.
As a gardener I love working in my flower beds, straw-bale vegetable garden, and my water garden. I will be adding chickens, come mid-February, staring with baby chicks.

Welcome, Martin! I hope you will post pics of your straw bale garden. I have heard good things about them, but I don't think we have anyone here that has one, although several of us do raised beds.

Welcome, @Martin Blue-Norton, from the cold depths of winter in South-est, central-est Wisconsin. I, too, found this site through BYC and hope you will love it as much as I do. Gardening is my special love. My chickens are great, but gardening is more the reason for having the chickens.

I know at least one member (besides me) has been looking into straw-bale gardening so be ready to have your brain picked.
