I think this speaks for itself :)

I buy bags of tubers off our clinic plant sale table every year and I have no idea what I am getting

so far however this is the biggest dahlia I have ever grown and I have grown some big ones!!
that head behind it is Chipmunk and he has the same sized/shaped head as Charlie Brown

so you know this is a HUUUUUGE Dahlia

how are yours doing ..any to share? mine are still going strong

Hi HiD,

All of my Dahlias are from seed. Over the years I have had many colors, some I believe you have seen me show already.

Here is one that was around for many years...sadly she is only a memory!

Here is one named 'Muriel'

This year I have two that were from seed last year that did not bloom, and I am hoping they finally do something! However, this little bright one has been shining all summer in my Brugmansia bed.

Since I am not in a region where Dahlias have to be dug up I always leave them in the ground. Over time, our alkali soil and our wire worms suck the life out of them--they slowly fade and have to be replaced.

Your Dahlia is incredible! Your Aiden must of thought it looked enormous! Like a Beach Ball size or something! LOL :gig

They are so pretty, I can't believe I DON'T have any! How crazy is that?! I will have to look in to getting some one day. I really like those "fluffy" looking ones :)
