On the greenhouse thread he added a company that sells agreenhouse supplies, so I checked them out and they *also* carrry 4x4 framing posts made from composite:

They also carry lots of fasteners for composite.

Hunny, that's another reason we used pressure treated 4xs. We put 42 posts into the ground. That would have meant 24 of these at $50 a pop just for the uprights.

An alternative that I have seen is a trex/composite sleeve that fits over a wooden post - used for deck railings. That might be more cost effective.
