Wow. I was convinced that I was reading an article from the Onion, and I kept looking for something telling me that this is a joke.

So to spray my 5 acres, it would cost around $30,000. What a deal!

Depending on what the "paint" is made of- it may still be better than wasting water. I have been on Long Island in the rain- and watched peoples sprinklers turning on...

"Painting the roses red
We're painting the roses red
We dare not stop
Or waste a drop
So let the paint be spread
We're painting the roses red
We're painting the roses red

Oh, painting the roses red
And many a tear we shed
Because we know
They'll cease to grow
In fact, they'll soon be dead
And yet we go ahead
Painting the roses red"

Ok, Ladies and Gents. I am at a loss here. Speechless is more like it. Money to burn.....no questions asked. Latex? OK, if I cannot make it green, I will just smother the whole darn thing. :barnie

It makes no sense whatsoever to waste so many resources on a grass lawn. What good is it? The height of ridiculous is when municipalities demand green lawns and issue citations for "neglect", then restrict the hours when people can water to conserve it. Make up your minds guys. You can't have it both ways.

Too bad that our priorities are such that we pay in time, money and resources to have a green useless space around our house, then we spend more time, money and resources buying the things we could be growing in that very space. And we are all less healthy for it.
