I wonder about the price too. I have almost the same table, but a bit darker. I would never guess it's from 19 century till I found this thread. By the way, I'm pretty sure it's hand-made, like most decent furniture from that time. I don't know if it's worth selling now, as the demand for such tables is low. Plus, it doesn't look premium or stylish (maybe that's why your customer presented it to you). I have a few tailored things from baliandboo.com that match table's look. Now the table looks better, but I still wouldn't say it's something old and valuable.
