Anyone Grow Mushrooms ?

Stop by. The morels should be starting in mid to late April depending on the weather and rainfall. Here's a photo of part of last spring's harvest.

Funny I found when it comes to eating mushrooms people either love them or hate them. I love them stuffed with melted butter

Mmmmmmmmm!!!!!! It depends on the TYPE of mushroom!! We take button mushrooms and pop out the stems, chop them (the stems) up, and fry it up with some sage sausage, mix it with some cream cheese and stuff the mushrooms, then we top it with some cheese and pop them in the over. DELISH!

@TReeves, those oysters are ready - hope you enjoyed them by now! To harvest, just twist off at the package and you should get several more flushes of mushrooms. I don't know if you have a way to water the block, but you want to keep it from drying out too much. Good luck!
