I really want to grow some artichokes. Does anyone have some seed laying around we could make a trade for?

I've got
Golden Bantam Corn
Delicata Squash
Acorn Squash
Connecticut Field Pumpkin
Crimson Sweet Watermelon
Detroit Dark Red Beet
Purple Top White Turnip
All Seasons Cabbage
Bell Peppers (assorted ones I have collected from my own plants)
Lettuce blend
Moon flowers

I have a ton of other stuff too, so if you are looking for something in particular I can probably find it in my seed stash; I'm not sure what all I have, I just know I don't have artichoke. :)

The bad news is globe artichoke doesn't come true from seed. Almost certainly you will end up with the wild type which has very small edible stems. The good artichokes have to come from divisions.

Hrm... I didn't know that either... But I do have artichoke seeds... I'd love to trade for some of your delicata squash seeds :D Just let me know if you are still interested.

Sure, I'd trade with you. It's worth a shot, I'm willing to take a risk. :) PM me your address and I'll send you mine and we've got a deal. Thanks!
