I bought mine in a quart size pot from the nursery. I've tried growing it once before and couldn't. I don't know why it's doing so well this time. It has gotten much bigger. My son loves having fresh herbs for cooking so between he and I, we use it a lot.

i was watching a cooking show from scandinavia and the chef said that they couldn't get laurel there very easily, so instead he uses young birch leaves. what do you think? ever tried it?
