Berry from a vine?

I recently found some berries that looked very similar to those in the berry topic I just looked at, but the leaves are slightly different and this plant was a vine. I'm not sure that it is a different plant, but it seems to be.

That's a Virginia creeper vine. The berries can be eaten by birds but are mildly poisonous to humans and animals, as are all other parts of the plant.

Yup...Virginia Creeper. Took me forever to convince a friend of mine he did NOT have a grapevine in his back yard. Broke his heart I think!
