Hi everyone,

I had planted some in the same spot as last year, but these two got alot more sun. Can't believe it made it though those 100 degree days we had, figured it would be cooked.

Got my hubby to stake it, the cage kept falling over, it's around 8 ft tall.

It's so neat, should be ready to bloom anyday now.

wow that is one big plant/flower. was it meant to be that big? Will they all grow theat big? I got some cosmos seeds in a trade that I wanted to plant next spring and I was trying to figure out if they will all turn that way. Oh and please post pics of the blooms.

Obsessed, last year I thought it was a weed, lol.

there's some pics of the blooms from last year.I'll post more when it blooms.

It just showed up in the yard,I didn't plant it.. no telling????
I didn't do anything special, just watered it just about everyday. Our soil is mostly clay, but guess with the chickens ranging it got fertilized, lol.

Holy wow batman! My cosmo's maybe got 2 ft tall at the biggest ever! I planted some where it was a little shady this year and they barely got 2 ft at all.

8ft? That is just mind boggling!!!

:ep must have been a banner year for Cosmos, The wife and I was just commenting yesterday on our Cosmos Trees..
they reached almost 7 foot this year...and we thought we had a tall cosmos...Great Job bayouchica :thumbsup

That is amazing. I have only seen cosmos about 3-4 ft. here in California...but I guess Beavis would disagree with me. :D Why do they grow so bigggggg!?
