I am happy you were able to place the bird in a good home. I sure hope the wife is up to the challenge so you don't get it back with a bag of unused food. "For life" is like you still want to be responsible for it.

Was told his kids where fighting over whose bird it is. Simple fix gave him $20 to buy another parakeet so they will each have one.
