My 18 year old niece just tx me a photo of what she wants for her birthday. I was shocked Birkenstock sandals and tx back are you sure. She said all her friends are wearing them. I said woman who wear them don't shave their armpits or legs, was told to order them WOW

Just looked them up, $100 for a pair? Are you kidding me? I do not give that for work shoes.

A friend was wearing them, Birkenstocks, she said they were as comfortable as walking in mud.

Seed $100 was a deal I paid $144 for the ugliest sandal on earth.

I had a pair years ago. I got them them really cheap and they were the most comfortable shoes.

LOL, I will try not to take offense! Birkenstocks are the only sandals I was able to wear for many years with my foot issues. And if you look at the full line you will see some pretty cute and some down right LOVELY birks! I had a simple black pair with rhinestone buckle I wore for dress. At one time I must have had 6 pair. Lets see... red, black, turquoise, silver, coral and a leopard pair! All bought on sale, 2nd hand (like only worn once or twice) Discontinued. I do not think I ever spent over $40 a pair!
LOL... I just looked down and see I am WEARING a pink pair I forgot to mention!!!

Carol they are very in style now with collage age woman. They wear them I am told with high white socks. Like bette Midler said woman in comfortable shoes.
