I found this on the Ballseed growers site.

It never came up in any searches. Now I know that this exists, things will be easier.

• Borage is very sensitive to high salts, particularly
high ammonium, during germination.
• Keep ammonium levels to less than 10 ppm

The yummy stuff for the other plants is what is killing them. We have ebb and flow benches, they water from the bottom and then drain back into a tank. Everyone gets the same meal.
I use a injector to hand water my tomatoes with calcium nitrate, so i will just place them on the walk and use that to green them up.

Ive had self seed borage for 5 years now but some one gave me some borage seeds this spring and I started them in pots. I kept those pots really wet and the seeds didn't rot. I've got baby borage now.
