Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Huge fluffy globs of glittery snow, shimmering as they fall from the tall fir trees...

That's the romantic view :)

Toilets are frozen solid in the bathouse...

That's the realistic view :(

That's about all I can do about it :old

hmmm, chile for lunch? Yea :)

Marshall, I used to have a little house out behind the shack with no door on it. (May have those 2 words "house" "out" turned around :/.) View off to the west was nice, 2nd growth evergreens, I kind of liked it that way.

So . . . I can understand the contrast between romantic & realistic view.

However, aren't the frozen bathhouse porcelain toilets at considerable risk of breaking?

Steve
subzero weather and those toilet seats and, see, you can pull a pair of wool socks over that seat . . . nah, I never spent much time in there, anyway . . .

Frozen toilets.......ah......the memories......... :lau Even here in Texas, it can get real cold sometimes and for the most part we are not prepared. I lived in a raggedy old drafty house that had a jug of antifreeze beside the toilet! It seems the toilet froze once, busted the bowl and made a mess.

I admit, I got a laugh out of that one.

One good thing about that little house out back, wooden seats don't burst hen they freeze.
