Buddleia thriving?

I have a buddleia (orange cluster flowers) and I'm undecided where to put it in the ground. Part-sun?

I planted mine in the early morning gentle sun where it gets afternoon shade from the hot summer sun.
Others in my garden seem to like shade from the summer heat. Once established watering is seldom needed. Easy plant to trim and keep the flowers poppin.
