My dh does the dinner dishes most if the time in the summer. I'm footloose and fancy free in the winter so I do the washing up then. I love being able to get up and walk away from the table after dinner and have all of that taken care of!
He also makes the bed now every morning while I make breakfast and pack his lunch, which is a small thing, but I appreciate the feeling of things being tidy when I walk down the hall later.
For years he asked me why it mattered if the bed was made, when we were just going to mess it up again, so this is significant to me, that he's doing something that he doesn't see the point of, just to please me.
