Can these grow in containers or must be planted?

A fun way for a hosta to flower.

Two of the freesia popped up. Others is wildflower mix. Should be 30+ in each planter of freesia...

gladiolus & astilbe plum in these. Growing much better.



The mix bin is pretty happy.

Ordered 7 I thought were different colors. We'll see...Found 6 pots to pot them up into once they arrive next week. Need one more.

Went to a local nursery and found some plants for full sun. The Mexican feather grass was wrongly in the perennial section....Dead at 20F. Ugh, wtf.


And this guy lost its tag. Not a purple flag iris, but idk what it is otherwise.


Ordering more weed cloth to finish the last 4 beds. These will go in there.

Figured it out. Blackberry lily, candy lily/iris.

Dirt settled a good bit!
Got 3 phlox of different colors. Some of the double phlox didn't come up.
Then mulched with wool.



Internet said the pale ones don't like any sun. But it's the dark ones that kept fainting. Either way, the pallets go up when I wake up, then down at high noon.



Got a few more full sun plants for the blue planters. Adding dirt tomorrow.
And the order in which they'll go in.
