Can these grow in containers or must be planted?

Then I've had this one in a pot for years. Has a pup. Planyed it the other week, it's flowering for the first time!!

I have two huge ones at the old house. Next time the guy with the backhoe is here working, I'll have him dig them up, bring them over and dig new holes on the hill for them.

Made a 11.5×1×1 foot planter. Need to find a liner for it. Cost nothing so far. 1" pressure treated wood was free, used, came with screws that I removed and reused. Most of the Heuchera will move in.

Saw someone on FB post charts of their garden.
Since I tend to loose tags, I decided to make my own asap!
Not complete, but most of it. Don't know what some plants are and moving others, so those are blank.

Got insulation & cardboard in to block icy wind & boiling sun. Then plastic lined. Some sand, compost, fluffy dirt and peatmoss in. Going to mix in dry rabbit poop and some more of the other stuff once I buy it. Plus w/e is in their pots.

But big Q!
Do I put all 12 in here or keep 1-3 in pots? If I only had 10 to put in, they'd be comfy. 4 are kind of similar, dark, so gotta place them away from each other. Then the 2 greens are similar as well.
So difficult. I guess I'll bring the 7 into the catio and mix n match them until I like what I see...
Two are my favorite. The pale silvery one and the purple one. But that smaller pinkish one is a close 2nd.
I love variety and hate uniformity when it comes to color and leaf shape. Lol

The 7 outside.
A useless area. I plan on building a long planter here, if I can find plants of COLOR that like morning to high noon sun. Ideas?

Can you put some of your plants in hanging baskets hung from the ceiling? Then all your plants will have enough room to get to their full size.

For plants for east facing positions, anything that likes part sun should do fine.
