i've been thinking about the article from UNH last year that they were talking about studying kiwiberries in the area. tonight i went to UNH's website & found the local farmer's markets will have them this year. i will have to make an effort to get to one of them to try some! i work in Exeter & the market is just down the street from work on Thursdays. i can't wait to give them a try. i really want to get some cuttings for the yard but need a place they can sprawl out safely from my DH's lawnmower.

I had them for many years. They only bore fruit a few times. They were delicious. They are terrible invasive and difficult to control. We needed a backhoe to get them out when we decided to put a shed in their place.

that's why i want some more info on finding a good variety that will grow here. i'd rather find someone local that might have cuttings or plants i could buy.
