Cherokee is as tall as me!

Last night I wanted to see if Cherokee, now 7 months old, is as tall as I am.
And for sure, he can look me in the eye when on his hind feet.

I have to help him to get up on his hind legs. No easy feat!

I decided while we were at it, to try to teach him to "Stand Up and Kiss Me." I used a dog cookie as an incentive...

Oops! Silly me! I forgot to let go of the cookie!

Wow! Knowing how strong a mere 27 pound dog is, I can only hope Great Pyrenees are fast and willing learners, for your sake, Rebbetzin. He sure is pretty!

Well Ninny ... years ago , my mother then 90 years old ( she could jumpover tall buildings with a single bound ) whent to visit some friends , when their Great Dane 1 year old puppy jumped up and onto her shoulders and started to lick her face. She fell backwards onto her back and ended up in the hospital for 2 days. NOT fun , ha ? Negative Nancy attitude ...I don't think so !
