So did you decide on a new design fence kate?
I just secured the old one a little better. DH had threaded the stakes thru the snow fencing, so the fencing wasn't standing up very well. I used zip ties to secure the fence, and it's looking a little more sturdy. I'm sure the will manage to get out again, tho.

I have faith in zip ties!!! I use them to help in my trellising, and my duck fencing too. Good luck!

I have been using chicken waste for the last few years around my trees and in my garden and it works soooo well. The grass around my trees is always a lot greener and grows faster. The veggie plants always are darker green and grow wonderfully.

The chickens in return always get fresh veggies daily from the garden :D

I always let the chickens in when the annuals are browning out. They have and awsome time taking down all the plants and digging through the old mulch. Eventually, I end up with a ready garden and happy chickens.
