I have been foisting eggs on Kid#1 every time he stops by, 4 dozen last week and 2 dozen Wednesday. We go through a lot here, but the hens never slowed down much through the winter and are really hitting their stride now. So, they get a little backed up in the fridge. I saw a flying bug today, I don't know what it was, it just sort of glinted by, but the girls have been busy on the lawn and in the back garden where I have been dumping the corral cleanings.

The robins are here too, so the worms must be active.

Thank you, I think so as well. A two of the hens are 4 years old, 4 are three years old and the rest were May 2015 babies. I can tell that a few of the youngest are laying their first eggs because they are definitely pullet-sized eggs.

I have a small wing back chair covered in a cheetah print. Got the fabric from ebay after seller sent me a free sample. One of my parents did upholstery as a habit and he did it for free. I had found the chair on the curb and had to fight my husband tooth and nail to take it home. He has a phobia from picking up upholstered furniture from the curb.

It really was well built and in beautiful condition. I like mixing in the unexpected piece like that, especially if it's well done and of good fabric, with good lines. I just couldn't justify spending $60 on a piece of furniture that I didn't need nor had a place for.

I could have easily passed on anything leopard print. Animal prints belong on animals, IMHO.
