Coffee

Coffee is ready. I’m tired, slept in recliner holding newborn lamb all night. He woke me up often, he pooped, peed and took some colostrum. We are on day 2 of a brand new life.

Poor little guy didn’t make it. He was so small, undersized, and never learned how to suck. He crashed yesterday morning, unresponsive, so I just held him. Sometimes no matter what I do, I just can’t save them. He had things going on that I could not overcome.

Today I made it 6 hours before my left leg complained and woke me up at 4:15AM.
After months and months of this I Now know all of the overnight live programming.
I took yesterdays leftover coffee and microwaved a cup, started newly ground with the timer, took some Advil--the doctors cannot limit over the counter pain killers ha ha!!!--and settled in my chair with Hot coffee and yogurt.
Since DD's are doing dinners at my place, so that the ponies get their sweet feed, something I cannot Yet do, I have taken over the dishes, so I worked on those. By 6:30 AM all dishes were cleaned, dry and put away.
Slept until 8AM, then I had 2nd breakfast, some very nice oatmeal with honey and fresh coffee.

Coffee with yogurt, 4AM, then 2nd breakfast with coffee was a ham and cheese sandwich, pepper jack.

Good morning y’all. Finishing my coffee, gonna get outside early and get animals taken care of. It’s cloudy, lightening is flashing and I don’t want to be out in the rain if I wait until later. There are pop up showers, sneaky things that come out of nowhere. It might rain here, might not.
I’m going to the farmers market today, I want some fried green tomatoes! Want to buy some cucumbers too, to go along with the few that I have so I can make pickles.
