Coffee is ready, going for second cup.
I take water breaks even in the winter. I work outside so much, doing heavy work, i breathe through my mouth. Also called panting or gasping for air. I get dry mouth and got to wet my whistle.

Thanks for the tea reminder after reading all the posts. I will now get a cup of hibiscus tea made with homemade rose water. No sweetener needed.

Hibiscus had the most divine flavour but I haven't seen that tea in years. Now I'll be searching for it again

I haven't heard that saying in decades "wet my whistle " That was my father's regular saying when he wanted his huge mug of tea.

I defrosted some pineapple and chopped up some banana and ate this with Greek yogurt.

Now I'm doing the same as my old dad and having a huge mug of tea . Mmm nice

French toast and probably should have had the sugar-free syrup on it. Still working on the sugary treats from Christmas. The chopped and microwaved Sunny Bee apple with raisins was plenty sweet, as well. Don't put sugar or honey in the oolong. On to the herbal tea with stevia leaf soon.

I shared some of that with a friend, recently – the herbal mix. He was diagnosed with diabetes last year and that surprises me. He is such an active guy. But, I guess that there is more to the problem than just burning calories. He looks to have lost whatever small amount of excess weight he was carrying around and says that he has really changed his diet but doesn't like artificial sweeteners. Perhaps it is lucky that DW has no problem with them.

Snowing. Big flakes and it's obvious that they have been falling for hours since everything outdoors is covered. Supposed to be just above freezing this afternoon so we will see if they last and more falling later this week can add to the insulation. The above freezing temperatures may be on their way out for awhile. I hope we don't have that below zero Fahrenheit experience that we did last Winter while there was no snow cover. That's really hard on the perennials.

This winter is the first time I always sleep until very late, don't know, suddenly, I don't want to get up early and do a lot of chores. Like today, I prepared DH's lunch and after he left for work, I went back to zzzZZZ until 9am, feel so good.

As the cafe is off till March, my schedule is so flexible now - just made two loafs of milky toast, with rye flour, whole wheat flour, oatmeal, and poppy seeds. The fresh bread is the best!

As the cafe is off till March, my schedule is so flexible now - just made two loafs of milky toast, with rye flour, whole wheat flour, oatmeal, and poppy seeds. The fresh bread is the best!

Second breakfast is 30 minutes away ... finally, a cup of coffee. Grump grump ...

@flowerbug has told us several times that our days are lengthening in the northern hemisphere ... yeah, here by 15 minutes from solstice. It is nearly a full moon but, I can't remember when i last saw stars and the moon. Hazy, foggy, cloudy, storming ... not sure when i last saw the sun.

The slice of pumpkin pie for the 1st breakfast helped. Maybe i will have another slice now with a SunnyBee apple and a koff of cuppee. Yeah ... There's more of Both.
