Coffee is ready! I finally got my son’s place mowed yesterday afternoon. It was hot! I was gonna go mow earlier in the week, but had a flat on my trailer. Neighbor came over and took tire off. Next day I took it to Discount Tire, screw right at the edge of the tread, unfixable. Bought tires in 2016, with road hazard. They gave me a brand new tire. Neighbor came next afternoon and put tire back on. I lifted back of trailer with the tractor bucket. Who needs a jack?

I was exhausted when I got home yesterday, parked truck, came in and passed out in my recliner. Need to mow goat weed in front field today.

I had coffee early this morning. I picked green beans and some squash. I found a couple of cucumbers and I cut them up and I have a jar of fermented dill pickles started using some garlic from the garden and dill weed. We are going to have a couple of very hot days close to 100 today and tomorrow. I am having a snack of a blackberry crumble bars that I made the other day and I froze. I cut it into squares and take one out to eat for me. Nobody else will eat things made with blackberries, so it is all mine.

I am seriously to generous to the point of be broke when those I have helped are in an hugely better financial position than me. BUT yummies not so much.

Would your blackberry crumble be, flour butter and sugar? as the crumble.

I can't eat anything sweet right now but I'd love this recipe for the future. Oats and honey would be added to

Coffee is ready. No mowing today. Going to a funeral and visitation this morning. Town is an hour away, gotta get moving!

Toast and Marmalade with Tea ... well, strawberry jam.

And, herbal tea — now, coffee. Because, it's a 2nd breakfast .

No sign of raccoons for, what is it, 4 nights? I'm tired of going out on the deck and shining a flashlight around. I'm leaving too much time between  patrols but m.a.y.b.e I deter their visits. Or, taking the corn out disappointed them that I didn't wait until it was ripe enough for their liking. Ooorr, what they are really after if garbage. Tuff!

Thinking about @Shades-of-Oregon 's fall and the topical treatment I use for aches and sprains while having my Crispix/Waffle Crisp cereal with blueberries and banana. Raining so I'm delaying laundry day until tomorrow.

First, I think that caution is needed if there is much bruising and, yes, I use Tylenol, now and then.

Visits to the Asian markets expanded my horizons beyond Bengay, Aspercreme and Icy Hot ... I look for the methyl salicylate and the body seems to appreciate eucalyptus. Some products are a bit too oily for my comfort although DW appreciates Kwan Loong, I go for the Hysan Oil.
