I am seriously to generous to the point of be broke when those I have helped are in an hugely better financial position than me. BUT yummies not so much.

Would your blackberry crumble be, flour butter and sugar? as the crumble.

I can't eat anything sweet right now but I'd love this recipe for the future. Oats and honey would be added to

Here is the link to the recipe. I had never made it before and you can see an egg was added to the crust and topping part and that is what I forgot to put in, so I mixed an egg and just spread it all out in the pan and it still tastes good. The pound of butter was shocking. lol It really is good and I am thinking of making it again and do it right and freeze it. I take a square out of the freezer and let it thaw and i have it with my coffee now and then. I can tell I am going to have a lot of blackberries next year. The link is below.

Toast and Marmalade with Tea ... well, strawberry jam.

And, herbal tea — now, coffee. Because, it's a 2nd breakfast .

No sign of raccoons for, what is it, 4 nights? I'm tired of going out on the deck and shining a flashlight around. I'm leaving too much time between  patrols but m.a.y.b.e I deter their visits. Or, taking the corn out disappointed them that I didn't wait until it was ripe enough for their liking. Ooorr, what they are really after if garbage. Tuff!

DD lives in town and I am not sure what brought the raccoons to her yard, but the kids were playing under the tree and saw 2 raccoons. DD took the picture. They look like babies. She had watered her yard earlier and took the kids all with her to my house. I wonder if it was quiet and they came for water and got caught when they came back home. They were gone later.

Coffee is ready. I’ve got to give 10 sheep their fourth antibiotics shot this morning. It’s 9 ewes and a ram. Ewes are heavy bred, Cooper the ram is getting one just because. A pen of 4 young rams got out and chased the ewes in the scorching heat while I was gone. I penned them back up and added cow panels so the stinkers couldn’t get out again. The ewes were stressed and came down with summer pneumonia. Snotty noses, rattling breathing, they’ve had 3 shots, every other day, this will be shot #4. Then wait a few days, to see if they need another round.

Cheerios and Waffle Crisp in the bowl with diced Mango from Mexico top and bottom. Oolong in the cup.

The heat has returned. The nearest weather underground had 94⁰f (34⁰C), yesterday. Supposed to be hotter the next few days. Oohhh. DS has a higher temperature forecast for Portland Oregon. Difficult for me to imagine that the Willamette Valley will surpass this location but with those 2 big rivers nearby, humidity may be crushing.

Here, I have laundry day and the dryness will just toast those clothes in minutes. Lawn mowing has to occur early so I can escape back indoors. Better plan on 2 kettles plus of herbal tea to keep me hydrated.
