Aren't there any home appliance stores (with a good reputation) that deliver and install washing machines near where you live? Stores that provide a written warranty for machines they sell.

Out of curiosity I did a quick search on home appliance stores in the UK, and Argos came right up (amidst others) so it's easy to see how you got scammed. From the ads they look trustworthy - appearance doesn't tell the whole story. Bosch sounds like a reliable brand, so hopefully this will work out for you.

Often older appliances are more reliable than newer ones too. I bought my washer new back in the 1990s and it still works great. Anyways, good luck.
Thanks so much for your reply. It's It's surprising how stressful life has been with this company.

Yes, curries has a good reputation. I had a refurbished fridge freezer from them 6 years ago and it's still going well 😀

Curries are on ebay to and that's whom I purchased from with 1 year warranty.

I’m glad the surgery went well, now you have to be patient and heal up. Do exercises to build up strength but be careful and don’t overdo it. Did they offer physical therapy? Or give you any kind of exercises to do for your recovery?
I have a lot of restrictions like I cannot lift more than 10 pounds. I have to be careful with pushing or pulling with my arms. I have an appointment with cardiac rehab the end of Dec. I am not sure what all that is. I am to walk at least every hour. Yesterday was the first day I have felt almost normal. They cut one of the medications and I think my heart rate is more normal. My blood pressure and heart rate have been low. I am doing more and more now.

Fruity Cuties and Golden Grahams in the bowl with a banana, persimmon on the side with the oolong.

Very early lab appointment this AM with the chance of snow. Weather Service has done a reasonable job of assuring us that the drive can be completed before the sprinkles begin. The question is, if whatever may fall, whether there's any melting over this week. Right now, the WS says that afternoons will be above freezing by the end of the week. So, we have several days of chill and there's more December days pre-solstice.

I woke up from a dream this morning where I was a sheep farmer arriving in a big city with a load of cleaned wool. Standing in an office, the lady behind the desk was on the phone trying to find out what I am supposed to do with it. She said to someone that I appeared "frustrated." Dang right. Need to get outta this concrete jungle and be back with the critters with some pay! (Channeling @baymule if she didn't have the hairless breed :D.)

It's just so awful the way the supermarkets are deceiving us all. Stating the food, (meat and vegetables) are coming from certain British farms.

They've even stolen farms names and there's nothing they can do about it. It's heartbreaking to know that within 18 months 60% of our farms will be lost, leaving us no other alternative other than to buy substandard food that has been brought into our country with false labeling on the packaging

No one can fight these companies. Because our jury's will no longer be used in our so called people's courts. Only murder or rape cases will have jury's.

It made no difference to farmers anyway, because the companies have the money to keep them down. Giving them all the rights to carry on committing fraud.
