I had my coffee and way too much breakfast. I have been ordering seeds and trying to decide what to do. DD is starting flowers in milk jugs today. I am going to order 2 more metal bins to put where the poles are for the pole beans. I think they will do better and I will have less problems with weeds. I think eventually I will win my weed problem with stopping the cow manure.

I am thinking of buying another metal bin and make it into a seed bed and then transplant seedlings out of it. I am thinking I would only have it half filled with potting soil and when the seedlings are all out I could use that for making compost for the summer. I am going to use the barrels I have, but it is a lot of work for me.

The weather here is cold, but seems warm compared to the rest of the country. I hope it does not get too bad and people lose electricity.
It was pretty nice during the day today - sunny and mid 40s but tonight the low is 28! Burrrrr!

Prompted by @Dahlia 's post on tomatoes, I have been reading about grilled cheese sandwiches.

:D. Okay, that might have been an alternative to the corner of last night's cornbread in almond milk that I had for breakfast (along with a canned peach). I mentioned somewhere about the similarities between pizza and a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Ha!

Well, there's another idea out there — putting a spoonful of tomato sauce in the sandwich.

How about an alternative? Bell pepper sauce LINK. Or, Jalapeño 😊 LINK

A little warmer this morning. It is 36 right now. I had my coffee. DS and wife have colds. He went to work and is over his, but she has a head cold. I am hiding from them. lol DD and her family I think have the flu. All 4 of her girls had fevers, but are better. They have had sore throats and stuffy noses and the grandson just stuffy nose. DD has body aches and her head hurts with nasal congestion and sore throat. Son-in-law will be next I guess.

I have most of my seeds ordered. I need to get potting soil and my greenhouse brought inside and the cover put on the one outside. I need to get pots and things out of the shed. I have 3 metal boxes coming. I have big garden plans this year. I am wondering what kind of weather we will have. We sure have had a strange winter so far.
