That rhubarb and crab apple ketchup sounds really tasty! The only way Ive ever eaten rhubarb was in pie form. My mom used to grow it in her garden and make pies with it!

Come to think of it, that sounds good to. The sharpness of the rhubarb alone would make a nice condiment with meals.

Rhubarb has been very expensive to purchase in UK . I really miss Rhubarb pie.
We can buy the pie for a reasonable price. But the supermarket hasn't been baking the pie for long enough, so the pastry hasn't been cooked for long enough. . It's really unpleasant gooey raw pastry in the middle.

I really want to grow rhubarb again. I'm guessing its to late to plant now.
I stopped growing it, because it was dangerous for my chickens. But I no longer have chickens now.

Rhubarb pie better than pumpkin it’s a perennial in my garden zone . I freeze it then by Nov thaw it out mix it up then add to a premade pie crust , bake it and it’s a winner…

I have been busy this morning. I had 2 cups of coffee and I have been gathering sticks up for the boxes to make it like square foot gardening and yesterday I had most of the boxes done, but could barely walk from all that bending. DD decided she needed sticks and I said well bring kids and they can help, so we spent the morning gathering things from the tree that was cut down and old raspberry canes. It takes about 16 sticks the way I was measuring. I am going out later to sit and plan where I want everything to go.

I had 9 yards of manure ordered and canceled it this morning. I thought I am just not dealing with it. I managed to fill up all the boxes except and they are half full and I will buy compost for them. I have a box I am making compost in and that is enough. I am going to spend the money on some trellis for cucumbers to grow on and flowers. I think I will order a couple of climbing roses to put on a trellis and I have a solar birdbath in my Amazon cart. lol I am going to try to enjoy my garden this year and eat healthy food, get sunshine and exercise.
