Beautiful little red breasted creatures. They are usually on on Christmas cards

They are the most common bi4d around here, even in the city you will probably only see 4 birds, crows, starling, pigeons, and robins
But i do enjoy them.

i like so many of them it is hard to pick just one, but the volcano and clouds one is my first pick.

The roller and owl certainly has an interesting contrast of colorful drama and passive calmness.

A few, I felt were a little too common place for someone who enjoyed fishing in quiet lakes altho they might be the very ones I would choose to hang on a living room wall.

The graffiti of a badger in the alley, or wherever, with a real-life badger passerby looking up at it — that one really appeals to my sense of humor .

Thru the photographers eye the pics are so interesting to catch nature in progress. Being in the right place at the right time in itself is difficult. The contest plantform is photography not necessarily where the pics were taken.
