Like it says in the title. I tried growing Caucasian spinach last year, but started them in less than ideal conditions, without cold stratification, and didn't know what the seedlings looked like (so I may have plucked them out of the pot). :(

Naturally I waited till the snows began to melt before beginning again this year. So I have just filled a pie pan with old soil and am letting it soak. Once it is drained I'll put my seeds in and stash it in the fridge till the end of March. Hoping for some germination, this is supposed to be a useful permaculture crop.

I've never grown it, but want to try. It is a perennial vine that is reputed to have a spinach-like taste.
