guy on Craig list is selling very rare chickens Ayam Cemani. He is asking $125 for 16 week pullets. They are all black feathers ,legs, breaks and combs. I have the East Indie ducks which are also all black. I can have a Gothic flock :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:. He is holding 4 pullets and 1 rooster for me. I love the fact of having hens no one else does, but will not be able to free range them. They also don't lay many eggs. Planning on looking at them Sunday

If you can, could you post some photos of them. Those things are weird if they are true to what they should be. They would be perfect for Halloween.

So I guess now you are designing a chicken coop based on Dracula's castle? The nests would look like coffins. With those I think Dracula would be more appropriate than Frankenstein's castle.

Yeah these are really cool looking, I've got them on my shortlist for when I've got a garden with space for chickens. Their blood and meat is also black right?

Yep, black all the way through - skin, muscles, bones - just like silkies. The blood is red.

@Nyboy , is that price for several? They aren't THAT rare anymore.

Over here I see prices for roosters anywhere from free to up to 5 or 10 Euro's. And from 15,- up to 45,- for a couple. They are mostly sold as a pair or just roosters, hardly any hens separately.
