Concerned About Growing Old?

Sometimes I feel like I was born 100-150 years too late…… But then I think about my washing machine, clothes dryer, refrigerator, freezer, stove, electric or propane, light switch, truck, car, TV, internet, blue jeans and I realize that the good thing about the good ol’ days is that the good ol’ days are gone.

I'd still enjoy using my old washing machine with that awesome wringer that saved me from having to iron

i don't iron now, just dry things a bit and then hang them up, any that have wrinkles i don't give a rip about... within five minutes of putting them on i'm almost guaranteed to have come back to my comfy roost and sprawled out again and gotten them all wrinkled. phooey on ironing....

Same here. But going back to that washer with the roller wringer on the top of the machine. Nothing today could ever replace those beauties, we definitely didn't need irons then.
