How many members finally realized today was Saturday??? I've known for at least half the day... And that's with a laptop and being online for part of the morning... We have rain inbound for 3 days starting Weds so I've got Sun, Mon, and Tues to get the corn crop planted and the pole beans on the fencing finished planting... Wish me luck. Had to come in from the garden after heavy raking for a couple hours and having to wait longer and longer to catch my breath... these bones are not behaving!!

it would certainly help if i weren't such an utter mooshball all winter (other than some light exercises and shovelling snow i just don't have much enthusiasm for indoor exercise). i really need to up my winter exercise schedule...

I think I miss fun. For some reason as an adult I never consider how many calories I used to burn just playing. Second childhood is a good thing!

hahaha! imagine going out and rolling around in the snow and making snowforts and snowmen just for fun!? now i think that's just nuts.

at least as an adult and when i was up north i would go walking in the blizzards because i found it rather exhilarating and uplifting (dressed appropriately too for sure), a few miles of that with my heavy winter boots (i still have the same boots and they're good :) Sorrels) and that must have burned a few calories.

I gained weight over the winter to 142 pounds. Blech. On/off a carnivore diet, really blew it last week with granddaughters here! But holding at 135! Back on the diet this week and doing my 10 minute beginner Pilates workout.
I need to pound T-posts this week, add insulators and learn about hot wire fencing. I’ve got to wean the ewe lambs I’m keeping so have to make them a grazing area. Exercise!
Got to go get a thousand pound super bag of feed tomorrow morning and bail it out into buckets, dump buckets into metal trash cans to keep the rats out. Exercise!
Plus a thousand other things I need to do.
