do not confuse suppository with supposedly but what if you really wanted to use suppooahsitory instead of suppahsitory? i suppose it would make a difference to someone...

A supervisor in my previous job had a copier next to his desk, and got tired of people putting left-behind originals on his desk. So he put a sign on his desk:
"This desk is not a suppository!"

Hilarity ensued... he''ll never live that one down.

Words that have specific meanings are valuable.

When I was very young, I had some of those alphabet blocks. I loved to kick them, to see how far they would go. When I grew older, I discovered the art of twisting words into Moebius strips. Still kicking.

I think the best we can hope for as we get older, is to never lose our playfulness - just learn how to play with bigger blocks, and closer friends.
