Hello, I am new to TheEasyGarden, but I just have to chime in here and tell about my container garden last summer. Using a design that a group of growers and I came up with, we had fantastic results with our Ebucket and self contained storage box planters.

These containers are self watering, easy to make and give fantastic results.

I have never been able to grow corn. Last year in an 18 gallon rubber self sustained box I harvest over a dozen of the prettiest and ears of corn. In another 2 tomatoe plants grew over 10 ft tall and produced beautiful tomatoes; squash, cucumbers, beans and peppers were outstanding.

Read the long thread and the spin off. Would love to see some pictures of the mature plants. Seems like you really hit on something. I have 25 buckets, but all of them have drainage holes and right now hold potatoes. May try and figure something else out.... Great idea.
