Meet our goats! Mr. Miyagi (eating) and the girls are Dolly (white and beige) and Jolene :). We had a rough start with Dolly but she is doing fantastic. We have had them for 6 days now and we just love them. They each have such wonderful personalities and love to be held and snuggled (not Mr. Miyagi tho, he is a rough and tough buck you know 😂).
Anyway, back to garden stuff.
Planted more strawberries, transplanted lettuce and beets. Direct seeded radish, beets, turnips, cilantro and parsley.

Dolly & Jolene???

So, one is a Dolly Parton clone!? And, the other is a classic?

I forgot about the clone sheep. Jolene was a song sang by Dolly Parton. I let my kids watch that video where she shares the story behind the song and we all wanted to name our goats that 😂

Doesn't look exciting but it really is! All sweet corn is planted/transplanted. Half flint corn is transplanted. All basil, tulsi, sweet potatoes, winter squash, melons, okra, soybeans and bush beans are planted. I still have to direct seed one row òf flint corn, peppers and some flowers. After that the main summer garden will be planted.i still have to till and prep the rows for peppers and tomatoes. I am forcing myself to manage the garden better this year and am intentionally not over planting. Especially without the fabric.
I will *soon have 30×40 greenhouse to play with too :). But that will not be finished for at least 2 more weeks since we have never done that before.
I am exhausted. Today was a big planting day. I hope to finish the main garden tomorrow so I can start the peppers and tomato rows. The plants need out of their little cups!
The fabric is use is a woven weed barrier fabric I bought from Amazon. I burned the holes using a butane torch. The fabric is held down by landscape staples.

A busy day in the garden with help of DH, we tilled, put down fabric, burned holes, put up trellis and planted 28 tomato plants. I also transplanted all coen, peppers, ground cherries and thai basil. The main garden is all planted! I still need to plan peppers, cucumber, luffa, and more tomatoes. And lots of flowers. It was supposed to rain today but it hasn't yet so I watered everything in. Maybe tomorrow DH can help me put up cattle panel arches to plant my cucumber and luffa.
First pic is of my spring garden. Weeds are trying to take over :(. The potato patch is doing great!

That is huge, Cosmos :).

My greenhouse is 9 x 20. I can and have grown thousands of plant starts in there.

It doesn't amount to much for in the soil crops over Winters – it's too small as a protected garden. Is that use in your plans?

It will be used in all seasons but I don't know all the plans yet. I would love to use it to start my seedlings since my indoor space is limited. And hardening of seedlings would be a breeze if they are in the greenhouse.
I would also love to get a head start for spring crops.
