Cover crops

I'm also a red clover fan but for different reasons. It is a high nutrient forage crop for my rabbits and the extra, if there is any, can be dried as hay that is every bit as good as alfalfa.

oh yes the deer love during the wintertime..i'm a big softy for deer...

Is there a cover crop I can grow and then give to my chickens?

Mine love the cut buckwheat. Certainly they would enjoy clover. Can't really think of a cover crop that couldn't be given to chickens.
