Great story, Nyboy, and a great find for displaying grandmother's picture! WOW!

I was going to say, there are two artist's easels in the wood shop gathering (saw) dust. Nope! I know you're gonna love the one you have now.

I don't know what it costs to feed them these days (you will need very good fences or they will escape ) , but the ostrich and emu meat sure tastes GOOD . :drool :drool Emu fat has many medicinal and healing uses practiced by Aboriginese in Australia for thousands of years and cosmetic properties too. :ep

NyBoy, did you know that birds native to the United States cannot be used in motion pictures? It is not legal to do so.

To make realistic films, the industry must find a bird fancier who has an aviary with birds which appear similar to the species we are all familiar with.

Some of these are likely to be quite common, like a crow. For cinematic purposes, perhaps a Corvus jamaicensis, for example, could be found rather than a Corvus species from the US.

Well, I mean as in "staged" scenes.

The keeping of wild American birds is not allowed by law.

So, if a film was made about E.A. Poe, a raven from a species outside of the US would be auditioned for a very important, starring role. Link
