I bought some creeping thyme for around the stepping stones and raised planters in the garden. Does anyone know if it just spreads around other plants in the area or will it choke it out.
I have an open space for the most part but on the outer edges there are plants and not sure how it would look if it spreads around these other plants or if it will cause problems.
I have thyme in another section of the yard and it just grew around all the stones but I don't have anything else in that area.

It is very easy to cut back and maintain. I have never had any issues with it growing at lightening speed then crowding out other plants. I have it growing over a retaining wall with other plants behind it. Seems to do just fine with a little bit of training.

Good luck!

Mine's growing over some rocks, with other plants as well, and I've not had any touble, either.

Enjoy! :happy_flower

I have grown it a lot too. I don't consider it very invasive. In fact, I find that it tends to eventually die out.
