Cucumber question?

Like a lot of cucurbits, cucumbers are monecious meaning they have male and female flowers. My guess is that, this early, all of the flowers being produced are male (which is again a common occurrence).

This is not a guess, it is indeed a fact.

Thanks!! I will do that. How can I tell which is male and female? Can I just rip off the male flowers petals.

Is there any real benefit to removing the male flowers?

I hope you get a great harvest. Fresh cucumbers from your own garden are the best! Store bought cucumbers are dipped in wax for shelf life.

Only if you use them to pollinate the females. Or to eat them.
