In Chinese, their names are all related to coins.i'm trying to find that leaf vein pattern in any pictures and don't see it. so perhaps a more tropical plant that looks like a pennywort? or perhaps there is a variety that is different than the rest? i dunno. plant id has always been my weak point unless i've grown it.

I agree with Money Plant. DW & I have been trying (so far unsuccessfully) to talk the owner of the Oriental grocery where we shop into parting with one of theirs.
