Dandilions... horrible weed for you, valued crop for rednecks

Ive got another redneck one for you about dandelions, my grandfather walking around the yard with a bag and pocket knife picking the young greens and my grandmother would make them up with a gravy. Theres a church around here that still holds a Dandelion Supper.
 
It's "spring tonic." Cook with other greens until all are cooked, and there's still 'pot likker' left.

Very healthy, actually, but a little strong for people unused to them. Thus cooking them with other greens. :)
 
okay sorry it took me so long to get this here but anyways
1 guart flower heads packed
4 quarts boiling water
mix let stand 24 hours
then add
4 lb sugar
2 sliced lemons
1 sliced orange
pinch of yeast mix and let stand 48 hours (I usually let it stand longer) then stran and bottle with ballon on top of bottle when ballon inflates then deflates its ready
