Do You Like Irises? PIX

My next door neighbor owns a piece of propery across the street from us where she has a "Secret Garden" On Friday she asked to come see the irises that are in bloom right now. They are sooo pretty!! Here they are....

This bed has red poppies and Irises

This is a close up of the bed. The garden has a big circular patio, and the beds are arranged like spokes of a wheel out from the circle.

These looked like twins

This one was really neat, the sun was hitting it in a way that the center was glowing like a sunbeam.

And lastly are the Desert Blue Bells. Aren't they a great blue color?

Those are gorgeous! A neighbor gave me a couple of deep purple irises around 15 years ago and now I have huge stands of them.
I have dug them up and given them to friends who now have tons of them around they yard.
They are so hardy and will naturalize so well but you can still keep them under control when need be.

Oh, I just love irises. Mine haven't quite started blooming yet, but I can't wait!
