On NBC, Monday and Tuesday nights. Last night they selected the winner. He was one of those kids that get picked on because they look different, but he truly has a remarkable gift in his singing voice. He seems to prefer gospel/inspirational music, but he belted out a hair-raising rendition of Queen's Somebody to Love last week that was breathtaking. Watch for him in the future. Jordan Smith. Big guy with a big voice.

Yes, my wife wouldn't miss that show for anything. She cried when he won - she was so happy.

The only shows that my family watches are reality shows. We get teased for it all the time from the sit-com crowd. I don't get to see any TV very often but I must admit that I like Survivor, Amazing Race, American Idol, The Voice, America's Got Talent whenever I do sit down to watch. Which is very seldom.

The instant that I hear the canned laughter on sit-com shows I reach for the remote to change channel. It's one of my pet peeves I guess. I also loath the subject material and total lack of morals on the sit-coms.

Oh yeah, I watch The History Channel, The Learning Channel, National Geographic Wild, and those kinds of channels if I happen to walk through the living room and it's on. But I only watch about 5 minutes while standing and I'm off to work again.

Smiles, I like American Idol also. Too bad they are ending it. Another show that I like is Naked and Afraid. haha Then I proceed to say during the show, ok they didn't need to be naked. They could have worn a bathing suit. They're doing it just for the ratings. haha

Nope to The Voice. Nope to the reality shows as well. My television viewing -- such as it is -- is mostly PBS with a bit of 60s to 80s reruns. Nothing THEY call funny sit-coms and very few of the other shows either. Without cable or satellite, there isn't much to watch. Paying for either goes against my grain and there wouldn't be that much more to watch that was worth the cost anyway.

My wife id addicted to The Voice". I'm a lot like Jr, if I am walking through and someone is singing I'll usually stop to listen, but when the song is over I keep walking.

I've never watched it but heard about the latest winner today on a radio program while I was driving. It sounds as though he has made quite an impression on a lot of people.

My husband loves singing shows and watches them all. The winner of the voice, Jordan Smith has a fabulous voice. I would buy his CD. While DH watches TV, I get on my laptop. He wants me to be with him, but so much of TV is boring, so I talk to all my friends and say uh-huh every so often so he thinks I am interested.

There are very few shows that I make a point to see (and none of them are sit-coms). I tend to like PBS and the History channel, and Nat Geo and the Science channel. Some of the newer dramas are good, but they are so fast paced and the people talk so fast, away from the camera, that it is very difficult to follow what is going on. I struggled through the whole season of Blind Spot. You can't even think about what is going on--any thought makes you lose track of the story. Ack! Too much stress for me!

I watch as I love music. Tend to tape then FF to music. Agree he has an amazing voice but girl who came in second will make it in music. 6 months from now, people won't even remember him.
