Since you will claim a tax deduction as a business expense for that "work of art " then after your next year's tax audit, the Revenuers just may get a hold of you... you will be picking up highway side trash to fill the plastic bags every weekend for the next two years to pay off your tax debt.

Dale Chihuly is an American glass sculptor and entrepreneur. His works are considered unique to the field of blown glass, "moving it into the realm of large-scale sculpture".

Alex, do you get many hail storms up there? You might want to think about having that outside and uncovered. How good is your insurance?

I could not afford one of his sculptors. I had to settle for a print of one signed by Chihuly. Selling numbered and signed prints are a way for artist to make money off their artwork.
