dug my first potatoes

My potatoes are just starting to flower so it will be a while before I can start digging.

ijon, not sure where you are located, but if your area had blight last year, the experts are strongly recommending pulling up all volunteer potatoes and tomatoes... the tomato blight, is really potato blight that effects tomatoes...Hopefully, you are in a part of the country where this is not an issue, and you can enjoy your volunteers!

As it happens, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and eggplant are all related.
